Alba Abdushi
PMU Master and educator · Realistic hairstrokes · Judge, PmuSkills Competition · Collegno, Italy
Alba Abdushi came to permanent makeup through drawing. Trained as an accountant, and after several years working in an accounting firm, she changed direction to follow her work in art.
She studied at the Scuola Internazionale di Comics, graduating with top marks, and worked as a teaching assistant in artistic anatomy. After the birth of her first child, the time to paint was no longer there, while the drive to create remained. Permanent makeup gave that drive a new surface: a form of art practised on skin, bringing together her background in drawing and in makeup.
An intensive period of training followed. She specialised at the Accademia Art-Line of Giusy Guida, where she is a Master and teaches mainly realistic hairstrokes, alongside PMU. She has also trained with Italian and international artists including Oksana Martinenko, Elena Dallacasagrande, Federica Favero, Delia Delfine, Mirela Rusu, Danny Sousa and Valentina Macellari
Her competition record includes first place in the Realistic Hairstroke category at PmuSkills, third place in Realistic Hairstroke at Ink Summer Camp, and first place in Oksana Martinenko’s online latex competition.
She works from Ink Beauty Studio, her studio in Collegno, applying an artistic training and an aesthetic eye to dermopigmentation, with attention to balance and harmony in each treatment.
